I'm Keith Markwick, 33 years old and an educated and experienced guitar teacher based in Peacehaven in East Sussex. I teach electric and acoustic guitar, from absolute beginners to beyond.
A little about me, I've been playing guitar for nearly 20 years, starting out as a black t-shirt clad teenager playing heavy metal tunes from the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Megadeth.
Over the years I have developed a good understanding of music theory, played live, been to music college, learnt many different styles of playing including blues, country, indie, pop, rock, funk, metal, classical, even jazz! (nice...) I'm currently in a band and have some gigs lined up for this year. I still play Metallica and Megadeth but the black t-shirts have gone!

Whatever your goal, I'll provide structured lessons to help you get there.
If you are an absolute beginner I have an excellent course of lessons to take you through to show you all the basics and get you confidently playing your favourite songs in no time.
Lessons for more experienced players will vary greatly depending on the player as I try to tailor each lesson to the individual. Lessons will be fun and informal with the emphasis on developing great technique, solid rhythm and good musicianship whilst learning plenty of songs. We'll also jam and practise improvisation.
I have modern facilities to research on the internet, burn onto CD and DVD, record your playing, show video lessons, print tab and lessons etc.
